ITS TIMES LIKE THESE YOU
LEARN TO LIVE AGAIN. IT'S TIMES
LIKE THESE YOU GIVE AND GIVE
AGAIN. — DAVE GROHL, TAYLOR
HAWKINS, NATE MENDEL, CHRIS
SHIFLETT (F00 FIGHTERS)

T'S HARD TO KNOW WHERE TO EVEN
begin to describe the last several weeks.

surreal is a word Ive heard and used a

lot lately.
I think if we're honest, we have to admit
that COVID-19 took us by surprise. I dont
mean we weren't aware of it; what I mean is
that we weren't prepared for how fast the sit
uation went critical and then kept changing
almost daily. We went from being advised to
cough into our elbow and wash our hands
more frequently to no larg
global pandemic and sheltering in place in a

gatherings to a

matter of about 2 weeks.

They say life is what happens when you're
busy making plans. For David, Dam, and
myself, that meant getting ready to attend
the Spring Executive Council meeting in
Jamaica back in March

that turned out. From there, the dominoes

we all know how

began to fall and continue to fall — all spring
Leadership Academies canceled, no spring
SGA meeting in April по
1 wish I could tell you what's next, but I can't,
What I can tell you is this: now more than
ever, it's important to remember why we
do what we do, American Income Life and
National Income Life are proud to be open
for business. We are here for our customers.
Our products help provide certainty during

ever before.

+ Effective and time efficient virtual train-
ing that not only benefits the new waves
of people joining AIL/NILICO, but also
increases our leader? ability to grow and
develop their teams.

The Home Office staff and Agency force has
worked together to provide
sions multiple times a week on recruiting, sell
ing, and developing our leaders, We have come
together at a time where so much around us
has fallen apart. Collectively, we have taken the
stance that failure is not an option. In response
to taking such action and embracing the chang-
es in the midst of adversity, ТА like to congrat-
ulate and thank you for your efforts, as March
was the biggest production month in company
history - in addition to multiple record setting
weeks in recruiting! How incredible is that?

tual train

The necessity to change has led AIL
NILICO to innovation and increased opportu-
nities for future growth, and it is important to
recognize the impact this can have on бише
business practices. It is safe to say that things

will never be the same as they once were; but
only because they will be better and stronger
soit is crucial for us to adapt accordingly:

+ ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING. Make the decision.
to be positive. It prevents negativity from
EMBRACE CHANGE with excitement, so get
ting stuck in old ways is not an option.

with change, as adversity scs the tone for
character, willingness to push through,
and strength to stay on track.

learn from the best and implement; the
support system in this company is sec
ond to none.

focus on problems. This allows us to con-

trol what is controllable. Everything else is
a waste of time and energy
